Ronan Keating looking forward to Malta visit
Superstar Ronan Keating, who is being brought to Malta by NnG Promotions for a live concert on Saturday at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali, is looking forward to his first visit in Malta and to visiting the fortified cities. Keating, speaking to the press before performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London, added that he has always heard good things about Malta and that its history has always fascinated him.

He will be performing in Ta’ Qali as part of his international tour. The Malta concert will in fact be the last one in a series of sold-out events that have taken Keating from New Zealand to Australia and back to Europe.

“I am looking forward to a grand finale to my tour and am planning a great concert for all the Maltese. I want the help of you guys in having a seriously amazing party. Although I have never been to the Maltese islands yet, I have always heard good things about Malta and its people from my Boyzone mate Mikey [Graham],” Keating said.

Graham, affectionately known by fans as Mikey, is in fact a frequent visitor to Malta and has gone on record saying that it’s one of his favourite holiday destinations. Keating will be landing in Malta some time before the concert in order to have enough time to acquaint himself with island vibe.

“Too often when I give a concert it’s from the airport to the hotel, to the concert, maybe to a TV station, back to hotel and airport. This time round I want to see the old cities, meet the people, try the food and see the sights,” Keating told Maltese journalists.

The Boyzone singer’s performance on Easter Saturday is expected to include both Keating’s solo hits, such as ‘When You Say Nothing At All’, ‘Life Is A Roller Coaster’, tracks from Keating’s two new albums Songs For My Mother and Winter Songs, as well as some Boyzone classics.

Tickets, starting from €35, are available from all Vodafone, Agenda and Exotique outlets and from www.nngpromotions.com. For more information, log on www.nngpromotions.com or join NnG Promotions on www.facebook.com.
