The Malta Independent Online
As tourism figures in Malta keep dwindling and much effort is expended by authorities to revamp the sector, the language travel industry continues to produce outstanding results. The numerous language schools registered in Malta continue to attract a high amount of students to learn English in our islands all year round, leading to a variety of

benefits for the economy.

The increasing popularity of Malta as a language travel destination is creating the need for more qualified people to teach English as a foreign language. Chamber College has embraced this challenge and has recently concluded a TEFL induction course led by Alan Marsh BA (Hons), MA, MEd (ELT), Cambridge ESOL CELTA & DELTA. The course was held at the school’s premises in Edgar Bernard Street, Gzira and managing director Joanna Debono presented the TEFL induction certificate to 14 successful prospective teachers.

Chamber College intends maintaining its contribution to the development of the language travel industry by organising further TEFL induction courses in the near future.
