Table-Football
Cremona retains first place in world rankings Malta’s Massimo Cremona has retained top place in the world ranking list, just issued by the Federation of International Sport of Table Football – FISTF.

He has accumulated 3279.38 points. He is followed, as usual, by Dutchman Verhagen with 3083.00 points while Portugal’s Guimares is in third place with 2319.50 points. Occupying fourth and fifth places are Flores of Spain with 2003.25 points, and Italian Intra with 1795.00.

Reaching the World Cup final in Germany last June as well very hard training and competing as much as possible in foreign International tournaments was the key for Cremona to maintain his top position.

In fact this year Cremona participated in almost every European tournament in 14 different countries, some of them even more than one occasion.

He is currently committed to playing for Italian giants Perugia whom he already helped to reach the final of the Champions League in Lisbon, Portugal, and also the final of the Coppa Italia. He featured in all his club matches so far after his transfer from CS Reggiana last August.

December will be a rest period for Cremona and his next commitment will be next year. In fact, on January 14, he will compete in the International Open of Temploux in Belgium and a week later, on 21 January, he will be playing in the Grand Prix of Manchester in England.
