The Gordon Asciak Tennis School, in collaboration with the tennis section of the Marsa Sports Club, recently took a group of juniors (above) to Palermo to train at The Circolo Tennis 2.

This was a very good experience for the Maltese Juniors as they played matches against different players and also had tennis lessons with some professional coaches.

The players making the trip are Bernard Cassar Torreggiani, Matthew Cassar Torreggiani, Mark Schranz. Steffie Schranz, Alexia Cassar, Georgie Farrugia Sacco, Julian Sammut, Matthew Asciak, Omar Sudzuoka, Christian Abdelghani, Alexia Valenzia, Melanie Valenzia and Jean Balzan.

This tennis trip was such a success that the Italian players along with two coaches and a physical trainer will be coming to Malta on 6 December to play more matches and take part in a tennis camp with the local players.
