The Malta Gymnastics Federation will be holding its National Championships in Artistic Gymnastics on Sunday, 13th April, 2008 at the Gymstars Gymnastics Club at Tarxien from 9 a.m onwards.

This is the sixth edition of the National Championships that the Federation is organizing since its foundation in 1996. The first national championships were held in 1999.

The championshps are open to all clubs affliated with the Federation.

There will be Boys and Girls Categories. Government and private schools are also invited to take part. The Boys will be competing in Floor,Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bars, whilst the girls will be on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor.

One may compete on all the equipment or choose on the one he or she wishes to participate in.

Medals will be awarded to the first three placed in each category with cups being given to the overall winners. Judging will be done by qualified personnel.
