Table-Tennis: Nursery girls dominate at junior national championships
Jessica Pace and Michela Scerri, who both undergo training at the Table Tennis Nursery, reached their objective to be the main protagonists in this year’s junior national championships.

Michela participated for the first time in the girls under 13 category and, with discipline, focus and determination, won all her matches to reach the final encounter against Jessica Pace.

In the final Jessica won and was declared champion of the category. Head coach at the Nursery, David Pace said: “Our work is bearing fruit and our plan is to have more boys and girls playing table tennis for fun, fitness and competition. We are there to guide and follow young players from conception to competition at high level.

“We are very pleased that in such a short period our girls are at the forefront.”

On the same evening of the championships, Jessica Pace was also declared champion in the under 18 category and was a semi-finalist in the under 21 mixed boys and girls.
