PN sets up issue group on higher education reform
Professor Joe Friggieri – Head of the Department of Philosophy – University of Malta, has been appointed Chairperson of an Issue Group set up by the Nationalist Party to discuss Higher Education Reform.

The aim of this issue group is to identify the challenges in Higher Education, to analyze and study the reform by Government of Higher education, and suggest to the PN solutions and alternatives to this reform. The PN will in turn put forward the findings of this issue group for Government’s consideration.

The other members of the Issue Group are: Professor Henry Frendo (University Lecturer); Charles Thuema (Head of St. Martins Institute for I.T.); Antonello Cappitta (Head of the European Institute for Education); Marion Pace Asciak ( Deputy Head St. Aloysius’ College); Roberta Avellino (President, KSU); Anthia Zammit (Student and Rapporteur)
