A man, 36 from Zurrieq, is in danger of losing his life after falling from a height of around two storeys while carrying out construction work yesterday morning.

The incident happened at around 11am. The man was injured after he somehow fell while undergoing work on top of his cherry picker truck at the Malta International Airport in Gudja. An ambulance was immediately called on the scene and took the man to Mater Dei hospital.

While further investigations are ongoing, Duty Magistrate Miriam Hayman held an inquiry.
