The latest meeting of the Regjun tax-Xlokk (The South East Region) has formulated a pro-youth policy, with the contribution of experts from the Mosta Youth Empowerment Centre and the BICREF.

Claudette Abela Baldacchino, vice-president of the Association of Local Councils and representative of the South East Region at the meeting spoke of the challenges the Region faced over the past three years, in the environmental, economic and social sectors.

Michael Cohen, president of the Association of Local Councils, urged local councils to take the initiative and draw up proposals and strategies which could take their area of responsibility forward.
