Integrating education for sustainable consumption
The Cleaner Technology Centre (Malta) in conjunction with United Nations Environment Programme, Cleaner Production Regional Activity Centre (Barcelona) organised a workshop last month with the title “Integrating Education for Sustainable Consumption and Production in existing university curricula”.

The primary aim of this workshop was to present an e-learning course on the subject.

During this discussion, foreign speakers from the University of Barcelona and lecturers from the University of Malta and Junior College also delivered presentations.

Several academics from the University of Malta and the Junior College attended the seminar, as well as members of the Institute of Tourism Studies, the Institute of Health Care, MCAST and Mepa.

At the end of the seminar a series of recommendations were put forward on how to enhance networking between Mediterranean universities regarding the inclusion of the subject in the curricula.
