Eleanore of Aquitaine ‘L’Enigma’, a mediaeval royal drama soothed by minstrels on their lutes, is to be performed by Nonsuch Players at the stunning refectory of the Carmelite Priory in Mdina from Friday 6 until Sunday 8 November, starting at 8pm. All proceeds from this event will go directly towards the Malta Hospice Movement.

The story of Henry II of England discovering that his wife has plotted his downfall, the involvement of Louis VII of France who is still in love with her and the efforts of the overworked Bishop of Winchester make this a historically entertaining play.
