AEGEE-Valletta are organising a debate entitled Exploring ERASMUS to look into the ins and outs of the ERASMUS programme.
ERASMUS is the European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, a European student exchange programme established in 1987. It forms a major part of the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013, and is the operational framework for the European Commission’s initiatives in higher education.
AEGEE-Valletta, a university students’ organisation, would like to invite students considering taking up an ERASMUS programme or those who have already been on an ERASMUS programme, for the debate, being held on Wednesday, 11 November at 10am at the university quadrangle. The debate will be chaired by Anna Abela and the panel will include two students, a foreign one who is currently experiencing an ERASMUS programme in Malta, and a Maltese student who has been on an ERASMUS programme. Representatives from the University of Malta International Office and Sport Youth and Culture parliamentary secretary Clyde Puli will also take part.
