Dior ladies night at Le Meridien
by Chiara Bonello

As from an early age most girls are fascinated by make up, they want to know what it’s all about, how to apply it, and in time, whether that miracle product really exists.

Few women are able to hide the glint in their eyes, at the sight of a smartly packaged eye shadow or a neat little lipstick. Last Wednesday night saw Dior, the world renowned brand created by the influential French designer, inaugurating a VIP event to present their new lipstick, Serum de Rouge.

Le Meridien Phoenicia was bustling with fashion editors and the esteemed clientele of the hotel, enjoying a drink while waiting for the opportunity to be the exclusive face of Vogue.

This was followed by a short history of the Dior fashion house, what their signature style is and how they strive to make women feel like celebrities, as well as make up demonstrations by Dior make up artists.

Each guest had the chance to try the new Dior lipstick, as well as get a short explanation on make up application or a hand massage. The evening was entertaining, to say the least, with drinks, delectable food, and lots of useful tips and a goody bag to for one to take home with.

Dior is distributed by XTreme Co Ltd. and is available from leading perfumeries.
