A man was yesterday remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to dealing in heroin and being in possession of the drug which was found in a state that denoted it was not for his personal use.

Joseph Bajada, 55, of Xaghra, Gozo, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The prosecution was led by police inspectors Josric Mifsud and Frank Tabone.
