The year 2009 marks the 20th anniversary of academic life of Professor David Joseph Attard, recognised as an authority in international law worldwide. To commemorate this milestone, a collection of essays has been written in his honour. The title of this book Serving the Rule of International Law is intended to reflect Professor Attard’s dedication, commitment and contribution to the field of international law. This work represents a close collaboration between friends, colleagues and former students involved in the field of international law.
Part I is a personal tribute to Professor Attard, Part II is dedicated to public international law and international relations, and Part III comprises two essays in human rights.
Serving the Rule of International Law was recently launched by Prof Attard in front of a sizeable audience.
