Event in Belgium
Pierre Clive Agius, Ambassador of Malta in Belgium, held an event at his residence in Brussels for the participants attending a seminar organised by the Mediterranean Bank Network (MBN).

The reception was attended by several ambassadors from member countries of the MBN as well as other diplomats, MBN Executive Secretary Marika Huber, MBN member bank representatives, as well as delegates from the EIB and other institutions and business communities, including the European Commission, CEPS, ANIMA, BusinessMed and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).

The event provided an opportunity for speakers and participants of the seminar to share views and opinions on issues of common interest in anticipation of the seminar which was held on the morrow at CEPS in Brussels. The Mediterranean Bank Network (MBN), a non-profit organisation, was established in November 1996 as a strategic partnership between leading Mediterranean banks.
