Young midfielder/striker Andre Schembri of Hibernians is set to become a major target for the forthcoming transfer window next month.

Rumours are going around that both Sliema Wanderers and Marsaxlokk are eyeing the youngster who is thought to have a Lm20,000 + according to the MFA parameters.

On the other hand, the youngster knows that he has to remain with his present club Hibernians till he is 21 years old.

And it is also known that the Paolites are reluctant to let him leave the club.

Schembri, who is an Under 21 international, is considered to be one of local football’s hottest properties. However, it will be difficult for any club to lure him away from Hibernians next month, though a summer move may become possible.
