A Gozitan Art Exhibition is being held at Tigrija Palazz Shopping Centre.
Twenty-five Gozitan artists are participating in the exhibition – showing various works including paintings, sculptures and ceramics.
This, the second Gozitan Art Exhibition, is the tenth in a series of exhibitions organised at Tigrija Palazz Shopping Centre. It has been organised in collaboration with the Tigrija Palazz Association in aid of the Tigrija Palazz Foundation for Charity.
Tigrija Palazz Foundation for Charity was set up in 1994, with the aim of collecting funds for charitable institutions. In these last 10 years, Tigrija Palazz has established itself as a regular venue for cultural and social activities apart from its leading role as a shopping centre.
In his opening speech, Tigrija Palazz managing director John Magro said that the exhibition had two objectives: to give all Gozitan artists an opportunity to exhibit their work at Tigrija Palazz and also for the Tigrija Palazz Foundation to fulfil its obligation to continue collecting funds for charitable institutions.
The exhibition, which is being held in the Function Hall of Tigrija Palazz, will remain open to the public until 10 January. Its opening hours are from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 4.30pm to 7pm.
The Gozitan Art Exhibition is sponsored by HSBC.
