The Italian singer Marco Carta will be giving an exclusive two hour live concert with his band as part of his international tour.

This event will be held on Saturday 30 May during which he will sing with special guest Claudia Faniello.

The most advanced lighting and sound system will be used on the night to give a unique atmosphere.

Marco Carta participated and won the Italian talent show Amici di Maria de Filippi which ran from October 2007 to April 2008.

On the 22 February of this year, he won the prestigious music Festival of Sanremo with the song La Forza Mia.

In 2008, he released his debut single, Per Sempre which did fairly well in Italy and peaked at number 44 on the Italian FIMI chart and number 18 on the Italian iTunes chart.

The single was from the album Ti Brucia, with songs by him and other contestants of the TV show Amici di Maria de Filippi.

His debut album Ti Rincontrerò was released on 13 June, 2008 and debuted in third position on the Italian charts. It sold over 40,000 copies during the first week.

In concerto is his first live CD/DVD and was released on 3 October, 2008.

The album La forza mia has sold 70.000 copies in Italy in just one week, making it go platinum.
