Veteran Ta’ Xbiex Local Councillor Anthony Cachia Castelletti has passed away, the Nationalist Party announced today.

Mr Cachia Castelletti served on the Ta’ Xbiex council from 1993 to 2001 and from 2005 until his passing.

The PN said Mr Cachia Castelletti was one of the pioneers of Local Councils and always strived to help strengthen the foundations of local councils in Malta. It said the Ta’ Xbiex community has lost a hardworking person who would surely be remembered for his sincerity, honesty and the love he had for the community he worked for.

The funeral will be held at the Ta’ Xbiex parish church at 2pm on Wednesday.
