Former Labour MP Joseph Cuschieri has presented his credentials as Malta’s ambassador to Greece.

The announcement was made on Mr Cuschieri’s Facebook page.

Mr Cuschieri was previously also a member of the European Parliament.

He had resigned to his seat in the House of Representatives in 2008 to make way for the co-option of the newly-elected party leader Joseph Muscat.

The credentials were presented to Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos ina  ceremony that took place last Thursday.
