The government administration run by Lawrence Gonzi back in 2011 and 2012 had awarded two contracts by direct order to a company which had the Prime Minister's son as director.
This information was tabled in Parliament by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat while replying to a question by Government MP Silvio Schembri.
Dr Muscat explained that the contract awarded to Global Translations Solutions amounted to €59. It was awarded in 2011.
Later, in 2012, the government awarded a contract of €236 for proof reading and correction services.
