As promised, President of the PN Council Dr Ann Fenech filed a libel suit against the Labour Party over a press release which claimed that Dr Fenech had already opened companies in Panama for her clients.

The libel was filed against the PL leader Dr Joseph Muscat and the President of the same party, Mr Daniel Micallef.

Yesterday, Dr Anne Fenech said she would be filing a libel suit against the Labour Party following a statement it issued earlier.

The libel suit filed today says that the allegations made against her were aimed at tarnishing her reputation.

The application was signed by Joe Zammit Maemple and Antonio Ghio.
