An Italian man was injured after a boat he was working on caught fire at the Kalkara boat yard, the police said in a statement.
The police said they were informed of the case at 9.20pm, and said that the man in question suffered injuries, but details were sketchy.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment, and the police said that more details will be issued in the near future. The police are investigating.
