An emotional Godfrey farrugia has been welcomed at the Nationalist Party headquarters.

Dr Farrugia resigned from the Labour Party this morning and joined Partit Demokratiku. He submitted his nomination to contest the election with the PD, which is in a coalition with the Nationalist Party.

Dr Farrugia is attending a press conference given by the Nationalist Party and Partit Demokratiku, where all the candidates are being presented.

A visibly emotional Godfrey Farrugia was welcomed by Nationalist Party whip David Agius. Dr Farrugia was Labour whip until he resigned the post two weeks ago.
