A 35-year-old Dutchman was grievously injured after falling off his motorcycle, the police said.  

The accident took place in Triq Sir Walter Wettinger in Mellieha, at around 1245pm.

The Dutchman, who lives in Gzira, was riding a Suzuki GSXR 600.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where his injuries were classified as grievous.

The police are investigating.
