The website TerryTime.org has been launched to help raise €500,000 in funds for Terry Farrugia, a man who made his mark on Maltese radio with his early 90s show called Terry Time.

Terry is known for having trained many known local presenters, supported local bands, and also having been repeatedly invited to speak and deliver presentations at international broadcasting conferences in various cities throughout Europe.

In 2004 he was instrumental in launching radio awards in Malta, with all the proceeds raised being shared among a number of children’s charities.

He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in April 2016, and has unfortunately relapsed 3 times after his initial diagnosis.

The next shot at treatment is a centre based in Houston, Texas, which is at the forefront of cancer research with particular experience in AML, and are interested in offering Terry treatment.
