Energy Minister Joe Mizzi said that studies about the seabed in preparation for the gas pipeline that is to link Malta with Sicily are nearly completion.

He was speaking during a meeting he had with the president of the Sicily Region Sebastiano Musumeci.

The next steps in the project were also discussed during the meeting.
