Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has attended a Socialist leaders meeting in Madrid during which Frans Timmermans was endorsed as a candidate for the presidency of the European Commission.

During his time in Spain, Muscat had formal meetings with Romanian PM Viorica Dăncilă and the UK’s Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn.
