Crane currency today inaugurated its Customer Experience Centre.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, inaugurating the facility, said that this is the most modern currency printing facility in the world.

“This centre opens a window into the work of currency building facilities, and shows Crane Currency’s pride in its work. He said that Crane Currency created a need for employees for this industry, which was, till their arrival, wilting.

He said that before Crane Currency arrived, employees in the sector were fearing losing their jobs, and today more need to be trained.

Today, he said, this industry employs more than 800 people, which is a 30% rise over a few years ago.

Annmarie Watson, the President of the company, said that the centre will deepen the experience for central bank customers.

She said that the company’s leading equipment and security technology is then shown to them in this centre.

“Our production facility has the most modern security technology.”
