A 67-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay was grievously injured on Wednesday afternoon after he fell from a cliff in Ghajn Tuffieha.

The accident took place at around 1.45pm, the police said.

The victim was winched up on an Armed Forces of Malta helicopter and taken to Mater Dei Hospital for medical care. He was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

The police are investigating.
