As summer reaches its peak, temperatures to be experienced in Malta this week will be the highest so far this summer.

The Malta International Airport website is forecasting a peak of feel like temperature of 42 degrees on Friday. The actual temperature will be 35 degrees.

All through this week, temperatures will range between 31 and 35 degrees, with the feel like temperature hovering between 36 and 42 degrees.

Nights will be warm, with the temperatures between 24 and 26 degrees.

People are advised not to expose themselves to the sun for long periods, especially between 11am and 4pm, drink lots of water and wear light clothes.
