The opening time of a popular music festival was postponed and had its location changed due to strong winds that are expected.

The organisers of Summer Daze festival first said the opening time was being pushed back to 9pm on the advice of health and safety officers.

Later they said the event, which was due to be held in Ta' Qali, was being moved to Uno club for safety reasons.

The Met Office has warned that the north to northwest wind is expected to be strong, locally strong to very strong over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands at times. The warning is valid until midnight.
