10year old Jake Vella and Triathlon Coach Fabio Spiteri will be swimming 1.7km from St Paul's islands to Bugibba in September, a Facebook post read.

"We will be swimming together to collect money for dog shelter Association for Abandoned Animals."

Spiteri made history by being the first Maltese finisher who competed in the Triple Ironman - races which demand not just the strongest of mind and health.
