Residents of St Dominic Street in Sliema have expressed their anger after four no parking permits were issued for the same days, further limiting their parking possibilities.

Photos provided to The Malta Independent show that the three of the four permits cover between 21 and 23 August, while the fourth one has been partly ripped to just show “August”.

The residents have filed a complaint with the local council, saying that better care should be exercised in the issuing of such permits, given the fact that it is already a huge headache for them to find parking.

“We cannot understand how four permits could have been issued for the same days in the same street,” one resident said.

One of the permits is for a skip, the other for a truck and crane, the third for “work in progress – van” and the fourth for a ready-mix.

St Dominic Street is a short hill off Manwel Dimech Street.
