A teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries early Sunday morning after he was hit by a car while crossing the road in St Andrew’s, limits of St Julian’s, the police said.

The 15-year-old foreigner – the police did not give the nationality – was hit by a Toyota Corsa driven by an 18-year-old man of Zebbug.

The accident took place at 1am.
