Thursday, 19 September 2019, 08:47 Last update: about 6 years ago

Opposition Leader Adrian Delia ruled out the possibility of forming a coalition with other parties during an interview with Realta` host Brian Hansford yesterday.

He was being interviewed at the PN HQ.

Delia said that he expects PN MEPs to support Helena Dalli's nomination for the European Commission, thereby following the party's political direction.

Delia argued that the Labour government needs to indicate that it wants to fix Maltaz's damaged reputation abroad, which, he said, was due to bad governance. He also said that the government does not have a long-term plan, and said that this could have certain repercussions on the future of the country.

Delia also spoke about the PN wanting a more environmentally friendly Malta.

Turning his sights to Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, he said that the PM's statements over a new middle class were not substantiated, and said that the middle class has been forgotten.
