Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona has been discharged from hospital this morning.

Cremona was hospitalized on Monday and was reportedly being held under observation at the Intensive Care Unit.

Cremona, 73, fainted at the Dominican convent in Rabat, according to reports.

Archbishop Charles Scicluna wished him a speedy recovery.

Cremona stepped down in 2014 because of health issues.
