An elderly man is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car this morning, the police said.
The accident took place in Antoine de Paul Square in Paola at 11.30am.
The 86-year-old man was hit by an Isuzu DMax driven by a 39-year-old man of Gharghur.
