PN MP Frederick Azzopardi is going to be transported to Malta via air ambulance to continue treatment after he fell ill while in Morocco on Monday.
The Nationalist MP was hospitalised in Morocco after falling ill while forming part of a Maltese parliamentary delegation taking part in the parliamentary assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, Speaker Anglu Farrugia said that Azzopardi was now in a stable enough condition to be moved to Malta for the continuation of his treatment. He will be moved by air ambulance, Farrugia told MPs.
