PN MP Frederick Azzopardi has been brought back to Malta and is at Mater Dei Hospital, the Speaker of the House Anglu Farrugia confirmed.

In a statement, he said that Azzopardi required medical care while he was abroad on Parliamentary business as part of a delegation to Morocco. He fell ill while taking part in the parliamentary assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). 

The Speaker, on behalf of the whole of Parliament, wished Azzopardi a speedy recovery.
