Unusual job for CPD personnel: 28 goats rescued after rock blocks access

Monday, 28 October 2019, 14:23 Last update: about 5 years ago

Two officers and four members of the Civil protection Department were involved in the rescuing of 28 goats which were trapped in Mtahleb after a huge rock fell and blocked the path the animals normally used.

A post on the CPD Facebook page says that the two senior officers and the four members of the Urban Search and Rescue Team rescued the goats whose only means of access was blocked by the rock.

It took the Civil Protection two and a half hours to rescue the goats. Luckily enough they were all found alive and in good health, the post said.
