Former Labour leader Alfred Sant today speaks of “irreparable damage” caused to the country.
“The damage ... it is irreparable, as has been well said... will not be contained by pretending that the situation is not like what the facts point to,” Sant writes in his Monday article (which was sent to The Malta Independent before Joseph Muscat announced his resignation.)
“In past weeks we have seen bizarre incidents occur that might have triggered new suspicions, rather than calm fears.”
