PL MEP candidate Cyrus Engerer has hit out at the current situation, and said that the damage being done to the country is beyond imaginable.

"As the President said, Malta deserves better."

In a Facebook post that has since been deleted, he said that the damage to the country's reputation with every day that passes will take a longer time to fix.

He said that Malta's relevance in the EU will be eaten away. Businesses will take a hit due to instability. Those who invested are seeing only fog.

"This situation is unsustainable. It is not the time for selfies. The country needs decisions. I am disgusted."
