A man was seriously injured on Friday afternoon after what the police described as a fall off a fence.

The incident took place in Guze Debono Square in Msida at 2pm.

The 22-year-old man of Mellieha was given first aid by a medical team before being transported to hospital.

The police said that a second man was held for questioning.
