Motorists are being urged to be careful by the police after reports of fallen trees came in from various parts of Malta.

Strong winds hit the Maltese islands overnight and this led to the collapse of various trees on the roads.

“Motorists are advised to proceed with caution since we have received reports of fallen trees due to the bad weather conditions,” the police said on their Facebook page.
