No one was injured when a man armed with a knife held up a shop in Zebbug, Gozo.

The hold-up took place at around  9.45pm on Saturday, in Triq ir-Rabat, the police said.

The robber, who was masked, demanded that the cashier, a 57-year-old man from Zebbug, hand over the money. The made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The police are investigating.
