A man was injured and another was arrested after a fight in Gozo, the police said.

The incident took place just before midnight in Triq il-Port, Zebbug.

The police said that a 39-year-old foreign man who resides in Zebbug suffered serious injuries in the fight. He was taken to Gozo Hospital for treatment.

A Gozitan man, aged 28 from Victoria, is being held by the police for questioning.
