Prime Minister Robert Abela enjoys a high trust rating while Opposition Leader Adrian Delia’s own ratings have plummeted, according to a MaltaToday survey.
The survey shows that the PM enjoys a trust rating of 62.5%, while Delia’s stands at just 13.5%. This is the Delia’s lowest trust rating in two years, the newspaper says.
In a survey conducted in December 2019, Delia registered a trust rating of 21.3%, against then Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s 50.5%
The survey also found that Abela trumps Delia comfortably among women and men, across all age groups, and in all regions.
Abela also enjoys the trust of 22.5% of those who voted for the Nationalist Party in the 2017 general election.
The trust rating among people aged 18-35 is even greater, with Abela trusted by 64.6% against Delia’s 9.4%.
In the 65+ category, Abela has a trust rating of 58.9% while Delia has 20.9%.
