Bortex Group has switched its local production facility capacity to manufacture medical supplies such as face masks and scrubs for nurses and doctors.
This initiative is being coordinated in support of the Maltese Covid-19 response movement in aid of local hospitals and clinics, the company said.
The clothing company’s retail stores are currently closed and will remain so until the government gives the green light for shops to open again. The company said it is still taking orders online and is providing deliveries but has taken measures to ensure the safety of its workers.
“We aim to be fully transparent with you; our clients, our followers, our peers, we want to let you know what we’ve been up to and the measures we have taken to keep our workforce and our customers safe,” Bortex said in a Facebook post.
Private companies who require the production of protective equipment for their staff, including face masks and medical scrubs can order directly from Bortex at [email protected]
